Privacy Policy / Datenschutzerklärung

Last updated: 2026-07-30. This policy explains how LocalLLMGear handles personal data under the GDPR/DSGVO.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Viacheslav Spitsyn
Otto-Michael-Str. 16, 04357 Leipzig, Germany
Email: [email protected] (see also our Impressum).

2. Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you visit, your browser automatically transmits data (IP address, date/time, requested page, user agent, referrer) which is processed in server log files for the purpose of delivering the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functional website). Cloudflare also acts as a content delivery network and provides security/DDoS protection. Data transfers to the USA are covered by Cloudflare's data processing terms and standard contractual clauses. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

3. Analytics (Umami)

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool, to understand aggregate usage (e.g. page views, referrers). Umami does not use cookies, does not store personal data that identifies you, and does not track you across other websites. Data is collected in aggregated, anonymised form. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site).

4. Enquiry form

If you send us an enquiry through the form on our ask page, we process the details you enter — name, email address, optional company name and your message — for the sole purpose of answering you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

Submissions are transmitted to our own form service and stored in our self-hosted CRM system. We do not pass them to advertising networks, and we do not add you to any marketing mailing list. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with your request and to meet statutory retention duties, after which they are deleted. Your rights over this data are set out in section 6 below.

5. Search Console & RSS

We use Google Search Console to monitor how the site performs in search; it processes aggregated search data, not individual user data on our behalf. We also offer an RSS feed, which involves no personal data collection.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21) to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected].

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves (e.g. when new services are added). The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.

Note: this policy is provided in good faith for a static, cookieless content site that collects data only through the enquiry form; before relying on it commercially, the operator should have it reviewed (e.g. via e-recht24 or a lawyer).
